Nithan has over 15 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. He commenced his career at Merrill Lynch in the Financial Institutions Group as a lead analyst before moving into Venture Capital and Private Equity, cementing his skills in financial analysis, modelling and deal structuring. Nithan has successfully completed numerous transactions spanning the resources, technology, property and retail sectors, before establishing The Eights as a founding partner. Nithan leverages his years of experience, vast distribution network and broad skill set to originate and execute deals for The Eights and its clients.

With over 10 years in operational management roles, and 7 years as the founder and Managing Director of NC Eyewear, Nick has extensive experience across a broad range of operational disciplines, including manufacturing, production management, automation, logistics, distribution, sales, e-commerce, branding, product design, public relations, and marketing. Nick utilises this skill set to provide oversight and support to the operations of The Eights’ portfolio companies, to identify and develop synergies between those companies, and to provide The Eights management team with ongoing contextual intelligence to inform corporate strategy. With a background in science, he is also passionate about technology, and acts as The Eights science and technology strategist.
